If On a Winter's Night a Traveler

So much snow! And I love it! But, not so much driving in it...hope it doesn't dissuade people from coming to the show tonight!

It did dissuade us from making it all the way to the church we are playing in stopping short after hours of slow, winter travel and strictly following deep ruts made by big rigs...o, that's right, did I mention we are playing in a church?!

  1. I heard you on the radio today in Cleveland. Normally when I hear about things that intrigue me while driving, I say to myself "when I get back to my computer i am gonna look that up." I rarely do.. mainly because my mind is much too cluttered to remember such things. Such is the life of an over-committed creative. But I bet you know that. Anyway, I was able to remember this time. Probably because I am feeling kinda sick today and everything is... more dull or something. I mean that in the dull/sharp sense. Not the lack of interesting stuff dull. So yeah, I got to watch enticingly short bits of Gravity. I couldn't tell if it was Vimeo or just the way you edited the sound that had it seemingly off timed. But I recall you saying how you vigilantly kept track of the syllables as you took frames. So maybe it was just my computer. Either way, and I am sure you have heard this, I fear I am going to be haunted by those images and thoughts. A good haunting. A kind of uncomfortable tickle in your mind. Already since watching the clips I have been replaying them in my mind. They are like dream sequences. Like real dreams. Like I remember them only when reminded after waking up. Does that make sense? Well it does to me anyway. So... thanks for making the film. I rather like that uncomfortable tickle you started. Who knows where this could lead.
