This blog serves as a cultural journey through time, space and art...or something like that? Beginning in 2009 as a chronicle of the making of the feature film Gravity Was Everywhere Back Then, a film by the artist/animator Brent Green that was produced entirely in the backyard of his rural PA home & is now in the permanent collection of MoMA, I now wander around looking for a not-so-angry artistic fix!
Articles I have written have appeared in Filmmaker Magazine, One+One Filmmaker's Journal, and Anthem Magazine and my collage work can be found in the anthology Cutting Edges from Gestalten Press. Currently I serve on the screening committees of two independent film festivals & one literary fiction journal and am always available as a consultant/sounding board for any and all projects.
I live in a tiny village in the shadow of Fall Mountain in southern Vermont along the CT River. And, yes, it is as beautiful as you are imagining. Tune in to our community radio station wool.fm Sundays from 6-8pm for my show Team Donna K.
